ANNIE is a 4 year old black girl, who is small, gentle and quiet. She will kennel with any boy, is clean in her kennel and quite simply no bother at all! ANNIE already looks forward to her walks in the woods, she walks very nicely and is good with the other greyhounds. ANNIE went to the local park very shortly after she arrived at GRF. ANNIE’s PARK REPORT : ANNIE needed a bit of help in getting in and out of the car. She met a Parson’s terrier and was keen to greet him and, with a happy, waggy tail, she exchanged sniffs. ANNIE was a good walker and very inquisitive on her walk, appreciating the time to have a good sniff and check out her surroundings. She was quite interested when dogs were running on the path, but was just watching them. During her park visit, she was alert and watched a lively spaniel with interest, however there was no pulling or lunging to get to it. At the loch side, ANNIE was a bit scared, trying to move away, probably unsure of this new experience. Her walker did comment that she was not keen on getting a photo taken! No paparazzi, no publicity for ANNIE, please! Haha Overall, ANNIE is a super girl who should slot fairly easily into her new life as a pet. She will make a fantastic companion. We were curious to see how ANNIE would do meeting our friendly feline. She was slightly less calm than MISSY and a bit more interested when the cat moved. There was no evidence of a keen prey drive but perhaps a higher chase instinct. The cat less relaxed with her, however, when she was bopped on nose by cat, she just wagged her tail. ANNIE, you knew who was boss, you took a telling and you were a little star. ANNIE has the potential to live with a cat, but, as is always the case, it will require time and patience, strict muzzling and a brave moggy.
