He’s gentle, handsome and Blue, and he really needs you!

Blue is a wonderfully natured, bluehound who is kind and friendly. He is one of GRF’S older boys, having just turned six years young in June and he has such a youthful way about him. He is a real heartbreaker, as he has the kindest looking face and stunning amber eyes, which gaze up at you. He’s medium sized and has a stunning blue coat with a white tuxedo. He’s a good steady boy who walks well on a lead and plods along happily at your side. Blue shares a kennel well with wee Baz, they are good together. When Blue went to the park, he needed to be lifted into the car, he was quite heavy to lift and once in the car he settled quickly. At the park he walked really well on a lead. He met some small dogs and was keen to see them but they didn’t hang around long enough to gauge his true reaction, so we would recommend more experience around other breeds with him. However as he shares well with Baz we feel he could live with another dog with measured and slow introductions. As with any rescue he has had little real experience of the outside world, so would need gentle introductions to his new life, with time, patience and love. Blue has the makings of a wonderful pet and is sure to bring much happiness to a lucky adopter. Having run a very large number of races in his time, we really don’t want him hanging around in rescue any longer than necessary, so could Blue come and put his paws up on your sofa? He is a wonderful lad who will bring lots of joy to a lucky adopter.
