Bob

Handsome Bob recently celebrated his 4th birthday and desperately needs a loving home. He is currently GRF's longest term resident. He arrived at Greyhound Rescue Fife when he was only 1 year old and has been in kennels now over 2 years, that's over half of his life in kennels. Bob hadn't raced as he didn’t have the aptitude for it and is just made to be loved. He’s a smart cookie and knows that if he offers his paw to people passing his kennel, he gets lots of extra attention. Despite the more sedentary kennel life, he remains beautifully built and glossily black.BOB can be an anxious boy. He does not like to feel crowded and can be worried by sudden movements, so appreciates a gentle approach to leading up for walks. Living in a city centre is probably not for BOB. He walks well with other greyhounds. When he went on a walk to the park he was unsure and tried to run away. He approached a Labrador puppy fine but reared up as it passed, although other dogs passed and he was ok. He will need to get used to and adjust to different dog breeds and outdoor settings, this is all new to him. He is an intelligent boy and should learn given patience and time to get used to his new life as a pet. He has so much potential. He is interactive with people, loves zoomies, puzzle toys and is up for fun. Being of a sensitive nature shouldn't stop beautiful BOB from finding a loving home. BOB will just need a bit of time and patience to settle. He will bring so much joy to the right adopter - sighthound and nervous dog experience would be ideal.
