We are putting out feelers for a special lad who has already lived a short time in a home, but has sadly found himself back at the rescue.
BRUNO is a handsome frosty faced, black boy whose coat is sprinkled with snowflake flecks. He is charming with humans and loves his treats. BRUNO turned 6 years old in March and so is entering his prime.
BRUNO was just getting used to home comforts and we are heartbroken to see him back at kennels. However, that doesn’t stop him enjoying life, as BRUNO lives in the moment and looks forward to his daily walks in the GRF woods, and plentiful treats from the volunteers.
We always seek to place the right dog with the right owner and sometimes we just have extra requirements. BRUNO will benefit from an experienced and capable owner, who is happy to ALWAYS walk him with a muzzle, harness and double lead and follow all protocols. He prefers quieter walks. BRUNO should only be let off his lead in a secure garden to enjoy his zoomies. He is not a fan of smaller dogs, but don’t let that put you off as he is such a loving chap and will make a loyal companion in the right home.
BRUNO just needs a chance to show off his positives and we should not allow certain requirements, such as muzzling, define him and outweigh his many, many good points. He is a lovely boy, popular with both staff and volunteers, and deserves to spend the rest of his days in a calm and understanding, loving home environment.
