When COCO took a recent trip to the local park, she needed a little persuasion to get herself into the car. She lay down almost immediately and settled in for the short journey.
COCO was at first maybe a little overwhelmed with this new wide world, but soon started to have a more or less normal walk. She met an off-lead labradoodle, who was quite playful. COCO seemed to want to play too, but when she realised the lead was holding her back, she broke off interest.
Her next meet was with a young retriever, who was also quite playful and again, Coco showed interest in playing, but then took more interest in what was around her, ie the rest of the park.
COCO stopped a few times again just taking in her surroundings. She was good walking next to traffic and finally walked past an on-lead spaniel with no fuss from either dog.
Visit over, she needed a helping hand back into the car.
That was a great visit for little COCO and she showed her playful side, which is often difficult for the dogs to display in kennels.
