DIXIE is smallish to medium sized and very puppyish. This gorgeous black boy is absolutely adorable. DIXIE loves fuss, kisses and attention and kennel life is not a long term situation for a youngster like him. We would love to see him in his forever home as soon as possible.
DIXIE currently walks with kennel mate LASSIE and, while he loves his walks in the woods, he can be a little unsure and skittish at times. DIXIE likes gentle encouragement and kind reassurances from his walker.
DIXIE does, at the moment, have a habit of jumping up in his puppyish exuberance to greet you, so perhaps he would suit a home without very young children or frailer elderly people (he might knock them over). Once DIXIE has said hi, he does land back on his four paws!!
DIXIE has visited the park now and was an all round super boy. He needed to be lifted into and out of the car. DIXIE is a good walker on a lead and trots along at your side.
DIXIE met a friendly collie and was wagging his tail as they exchanged sniffs, he had no issues with his rear end being sniffed!
He was fine walking on the pavement alongside cars passing by.
He is a very happy go lucky boy with a friendly and loving nature.
DIXIE has so much potential. He will make a smashing pet.
