Dom is a statuesque, four year old blue hound. He is elegant, tall and sleek with a fine blue coat and a stunning white tuxedo. You can’t miss his magnificent radar ears, they are pointy, animated and add to his charm. Dom is a lovely natured, laid back boy who is friendly with fellow hounds and seems to make new friends easily. Although he has not been assessed with other breeds yet, we feel because of his laid back nature he could live with another dog, with the usual, sensible and measured introductions. Equally he could be an only hound soaking up all the love and attention.

He loves to lap up attention from staff and volunteers, and he will happily lean in for a cuddle. Although he is a tall lad, he is easy to lead up and is a delight to walk, as he walks majestically at your side, occasionally looking up for reassurance. He would make an ideal greyhound for a first time greyhound owner or for an experienced owner! Dom is a gorgeous soul who will return his family’s love a thousand fold and will make a rewarding companion. As he has had little experience of the outside world, we would recommend gentle introductions to his new life, with time, patience and love to allow him to settle as a pet. Give him that and you will have the most wonderful pet.
