Ed2

“We came into the world like brother and brother; And now let’s go hand in hand, not one before another.”

Well, Shakespeare got it right and this perfect pair of brothers should be homed together, forever.

Introducing ED and his brother ALLY.

We know it's another big ask for adopters to consider homing a pair of hounds, but these boys are so lovely together and therefore we are asking again. Bonded pairs often settle more easily into home life, are company and playmates for each other, give each other confidence in the early days AND look very impressive when walked together!

ED and ALLY are the current kennel babies, just 2 years old and indeed act like it, they are very young and sweet.

ED is the more timid of the pair, he is black with striking white markings across his face, shoulders and chest.

ED and ALLY have only very recently arrived at kennels and are currently settling into kennel routines and getting to know their fellow homeless hounds, staff and volunteers. They are also enjoying spotting the abundant furry critters that inhabit the woods here. Each day, as familiarity grows, they will become more confident. They are walking well together and are an absolute delight.

Both boys have visited the park (separately for this first occasion) and here's how ED got on - remember this is very early days and he will have never been to a busy park before:

ED’s park visit.

ED needed to be lifted into the car. He seemed timid and overwhelmed at first with everything going on, but settled when walking. He met a bichon frise, had a quick sniff, then was chilled around it, ignoring it. ED was a bit startled by the loud, unexpected sound of a car going over a drain cover and walked well in the main. ED was interested in dogs in the distance, stared a bit. All in all, a good boy who liked a lean. Fantastic stuff, ED, with some more gentle introductions to your new life, you will ace it!

These brothers will make amazing companions.
