It has been a while since we had a fawn dog at kennels and so we welcome EVIE who is 3 years old. EVIE is not very tall and is a nicely built little lady. She is strikingly pretty with gorgeous, liquid dark brown eyes, beautiful black tipped ears and a dark tail. EVIE is one of those rare greyhounds who sits while in her kennel.
EVIE loves having a sniff of anything and everything in the woods and is a nice walker on the lead. She is a real cuddle monster, affectionate and snuffly when you crouch down to try to take pics. She eats well and enjoys treats and cuddles. Sounds about ideal!

EVIE needed a hand getting into the car but settled quickly. EVIE got very alert seeing other dogs, especially smaller dogs. First up, she met 2 off lead collies and all 3 dogs sniffed each other and carried on with the walk. EVIE then met 2 small bulldog types, one of which was overexcited. EVIE had a growl at him. She also got a bit too keen to meet a bichon frise who did not want EVIE’s attention.
EVIE was getting a little spooked by unexpected noises, so her confidence will need building up. When meeting humans, EVIE often likes to put her paws on their chest and this naughty behaviour will of course need to be discouraged.
An adopter able and willing from the get go to help iron out any unwanted behaviours from EVIE would be her perfect person.
