GRACIE is a very slender, very elegant, long-necked swan of a greyhound girl. Her black coat has a sprinkling of snowflakes. GRACIE is quite slight and seems to have a very kind and gentle nature.
A young girl, at only 3 years old, GRACIE walks nicely (although she does enjoy a bit of rabbit spotting) with her greyhound friends, both male and female. She is also learning to ask for affection from the humans.
Park Visit.
GRACIE got her front paws into the car but didn’t know what to do with her back legs!! Not so graceful then, GRACIE! Once in, she settled quickly in the car for the short trip to the park. She was a little unsure on getting out as she didn’t know where she was.
GRACIE prances elegantly when walking. She met a small terrier, had a playful lunge but that was it. She was calm and showed no aggression. GRACIE does have a bit of a prey drive but, again, such early days. She’ll get used to exciting new things with a bit of time, patience and good sense. Well done GRACIE, you were a star.
GRACIE REVISITS THE PARK (23/11)
Despite the rain, GRACIE jumped out of the car albeit (understandably) reluctantly.
She is a good little walker, who trots along so elegantly and likes to have the occasional read of a peemail. Oh, and a bin was of great interest!
Sadly, GRACIE didn’t meet any dogs nose to nose on this occasion, but did see dogs in the distance. She was focused in on a collie, staring for a while and as it walked away. She tried to walk in its direction, but was led away and was happy to carry on with her walk. GRACIE was ok with traffic passing and walked well on the high street. It was a pity but, due to the dreadful weather, there was not much more to report as there were few other dogs out.
