Introducing the very splendid JIMMY, a stunning, large white and black boy. JIMMY’s coat has wonderful (almost hypnotic) markings. He is 3 years old. JIMMY is not long out of racing and so is strong and keen at the moment (a harness helps). He is, however, a very sweet lad. JIMMY will settle as he gets used to life at GRF and indeed he does settle on his woodland walks, starting to sniff rather than just scan.
JIMMY goes to the park.
He jumped into car both ways and was relaxed during the short car journey. JIMMY got very excited on seeing the wide, open space of the park - eyes out on stalks, EARDAR engaged!!
When JIMMY saw something of interest in the field, he was being quite strong on the lead / harness. Otherwise, he was pretty good and manageable in the park situation. It’s all new to him and he did so well.
JIMMY met a spaniel and two off lead retrievers and he more or less ignored the spaniel, but seemed interested in the male retriever. He also met a corgi, who was most excited. Jimmy was excited too, then backed away. JIMMY seems to prefer humans to dogs.
He was absolutely fine on the high street. A confident boy.
