If you are looking for fun, beautiful and sweet look no further than Jota. Just recently turned three, this confident girl has a lovely nature. She is a small to medium sized girl, with a black coat and a stunning white tuxedo, with white socks. Despite being only three years old she does have a slightly frosty face, but this adds to her charm and beauty.
She is a good walker on a lead and she can be excitable to get out for her walks. She calms down and walks nicely beside her handler once out. She is an inquisitive soul who is alert to her surroundings and then her super expressive radar ears will pop up.
Jota is friendly and walks well with fellow hounds. On a walk to the park Jota was very good, she did need to be lifted into the car in both directions and settled quickly once on the move. She met a young Staffordshire Bull Terrier who was very playful, bouncing around her and she stayed very calm, wagging her tail. She could live with another dog based on her positive reactions to the Staffie at the park and her friendliness with fellow hounds in kennels. We would recommend the usual, sensible and measured introductions to other dogs. Equally she could live as an only hound soaking up all the love and attention.
As with any rescue greyhound who has had little life experience outside of kennels, you will find over time with more real life experiences they adjust and learn to adapt to their new life given time and patience. Jota is a quick learner and has settled in and is ready for a loving home. Do you have room in your heart for a wee black beauty? She really has the makings of a super pet.
