Farewell our beautiful girl - we are all absolutely lost without you sweetheart. Your happy, smiling face, your full-body wags, your excitement when you tried to catch a ball, your enthusiastic paper shredding, your sneaky chewing of the bed post, the bird table and the wall.....You gave Sandy a new lease of life in the three short years you lived with us and he's absolutely devastated by your sudden departure. Douglas sleeps with your collar now - you were so protective of him, sleeping outside his bedroom door from your very first night with us and washing his hands and feet so very carefully.
We have planted a beautiful pink flowering shrub in your favourite sunbathing spot in the garden, pretty girl. You were, as Douglas says, one of a kind.
