New girl, LUNA is only 2 years old, petite, pretty and blue. Being a youngster, LUNA walks with some enthusiasm and gusto! She is a friendly soul, fine with the other greyhounds and with staff and volunteers.
LUNA went on a park visit to assess how she is out and about. She needed a lift into the car there and back, but settled quickly for the short trip. She walked nicely on her harness and got upset when two small dogs ran past her without saying hello!
LUNA met two retrievers and shared a sniff with one of them. A couple of schnauzers and a spaniel were walking ahead and LUNA was keen to catch up, in a nice way, of course. She coped well with the stairs and traffic on the high street.
Lastly, she met a spaniel who didn't really want to meet her. When the spaniel was calm, so was Luna but if it darted about, so did she!
LUNA's exuberance means she is not cat or small furry friendly, but her lively and sociable nature will make her a great little companion.
