Could this little mermaid be part of your world. Mermaid is a tiny, pretty, blue fawn who is still finding her paws here at GRF. She is four years old and the sweetest wee soul. This girl is currently our queen roacher, as she is often found legs in the air, in deep slumber, she knows how to chill. She is adorable and quite shy with people but she is friendly with her fellow kennel friends. Mermaid can be a reluctant walker which we are working on, it’s likely she is overwhelmed at the moment by her change in circumstances. She can be encouraged out for a sniff with a friend, she likes to walk with Stan and now knows every centimetre of the first 50 metres of Celia's woodland walk. They do say that a 20 minute Sniffari is better than a 1 hour power walk for any dog. Mermaid might like to start her new life pottering around the garden, then slowly build up her walks with patience and gentle encouragement. However, she may decide soon that she enjoys walks and will quickly come out of her shell. Having raced over 100 times it’s now time for her to put her paws up and enjoy her best life.
