Neutering Fund.

One of our greatest priorities at Greyhound Rescue Fife is to ensure that all greyhounds leaving our care are neutered. This is equally important for males and females. A male dog can produce thousands of puppies in his lifetime, and a female could be used as a breeding machine in the wrong environment. Of course we try to ensure that our dogs find homes with good, caring owners who are fully aware of their responsibilities, but we still believe that it is vitally important that any dogs that leave our kennels are unable to add to the colossal numbers of greyhounds who are desperately seeking homes to live out the rest of their lives when the racing industry has finished with them.

However, the costs of multiple neuterings are a very heavy burdon on our resources and a drain on our rescue fund; and so we have set up this page so that people who share our concern about this issue can assist us by making a donation to help with the cost of our neutering program. Any amount however small will be so very much appreciated and will go directly towards ensuring, as best we can, that none of our dogs add to an already substantial problem.

The easiest way for you to help us is to use the PayPal button below. You don't even have to have a PayPal account, you can use your credit or debit card and all transactions are absolutely secure. Please mention in the "description" box on the PayPal site that your donation is for our neutering fund. Alternatively a cheque or cash is also most welcome, and if you wish to contribute on a regular basis why not set up a standing order at your bank, we will be pleased to give you our account details on request.

Thank you.
