TOK is a pretty, 4 year old black girl. She's settling in nicely at the kennels and getting to know the routine. Good on the lead and friendly with both male and female hounds, TOK is shaping up very well indeed.
She went on her introductory visit to the local park where she got herself into the car with just a little help. Once in, TOK settled quickly down.
TOK was a really nice walker on the lead, hardly pulling at all. She first met and shared sniffs with a spaniel, but quickly wanted to push on with the walk. Next, she met a calm labrador and again shared sniffs, but didn't linger. Too much to see! In a tougher test, TOK stayed pretty calm as she watched an off-lead spaniel running about.
When another off-lead dog (French bulldog) ran up to her, she got quite excited and playful. TOK was easy to calm down and continued the walk.
A lovely confident girl, unfazed by all the new experiences, and in fact wanting to join in, TOK had no problem with passing traffic and, lastly, got herself into the car for the journey home - a fast learner. A very positive visit for TOK.
