It’s a while since there was a “moo hound” at GRF, so let’s welcome VERITY, who is shaping up to be a bit of a character. Quite petite and confident, cowgirl VERITY is 5 years old and has extremely pretty markings.
VERITY is alert for small critters and furies while out and about in the woods. Look out Bugs Bunny!! She is sociable with the hounds and likes to mosey on down with the gang. VERITY is sharing nicely with her boy kennel mate and walks well with other girls.
VERITY has a good appetite, loves her grub and “mugged” one of the volunteers for a bit of her sandwich! As we said, she is a character.
VERITY needed to be lifted into the car. She loved meeting humans but doesn’t seem to care so much for other dogs. VERITY met a group of dogs, 3 off lead dalmations and 3 small terriers. She stared intently at the terriers and ignored the dalmations when they came over for sniffs. She also met a jack russell which she completely ignored. VERITY may have a bit of a prey drive at the moment. She did so well for her first time at the park with all the new and stimulating sights and sounds. VERITY, you were a star.
So, if you are on the lookout for a real head turner, VERITY just might be the girl for you.
All of our dogs are ex racing dogs and, in order to help them adapt successfully to life as a pet, we advise slow and measured introductions to all aspects of their new lives.
